Storopack was founded in 1874 and is headquartered in Metzingen, Germany. The company is organized into two divisions: The Molding Division produces tailored protective packaging and technical molded parts from expanded foams for various industries. The Packaging Division offers flexible protective packaging with air cushions, paper pads, PU foam packaging systems, loose-fill packaging materials and their integration into existing packaging processes.
With production facilities and locations worldwide, Storopack has a decentralized structure and is always in close proximity to the customer. Worldwide, 2,310 employees work at 72 locations in 18 countries.

Storopack PAPERplus® Classic - PAPER CUSHIONING
PAPERplus® Classic CX MEANS SAFE, FAST AND EFFICIENT PACKAGING.
The PAPERplus® Classic CX paper cushioning system uses blade-free technology to produce robust and versatile paper cushions. These adapt flexibly to the shape of the shipping goods and thus provide optimum protection even for heavy products in the box. Thanks to perforated paper, the individual cushions can be easily separated from each other, meaning that the machine does not need a blade. As such, users benefit from safe and ergonomic workflows. In addition, the operator can choose between three different speeds and various padding properties to further increase packing comfort.
PAPERplus® Classic CX draws paper directly from a pallet and is ideal for extremely high throughput: The machine can thus be operated over a long period of time without interruption. If the paper supply is consumed, replenishment can be provided in just a few simple steps. The paper pads are ideal for a wide range of packaging applications. The volume of the pads can be individually adjusted for each item being shipped. The compact PAPERplus® Classic CX can be integrated easily into existing distribution lines.
Storopack PAPERplus® PAPILLON PAPER CUSHIONING
VERSATILE AND COMPACT – PAPERplus® PAPILLON
Thanks to its special, patented shape, the paper cushioning of the PAPERplus® Papillon system offers optimal protection for small and medium-sized shipping goods. It’s suitable for filling voids and wrapping products, boasts large volume at a low weight, and is especially soft and flexible. Available in a variety of models, the PAPERplus® Papillon machine is simple to adapt to the specific needs of our customers.
Three operating modes also simplify on-demand production of paper cushioning directly at the packing station, while the system itself features a compact, space-saving design. When connected with a conveying system and a silo, a single PAPERplus® Papillon can supply multiple packing stations with cushioning at the same time. The special kraft paper used by the PAPERplus® Papillon to create paper cushioning is also available in various colours.
Storopack AIRplus® CUSHIONING
AIRplus® Mini Touch MAKES IT EASY TO PRODUCE DIFFERENT TYPES OF AIR CUSHION IN NO TIME.
AIRplus® Mini Touch allows you to optimally protect your products. Whether for cushioning, blocking and bracing, wrapping, or filling voids, AIRplus® Mini Touch can process a wide variety of films up to 400 mm in width. The intuitive touch display makes machine operation simple and convenient. The display can be positioned on the front or the back to ensure easy access at all times.
There are three modes to choose from: manual, length-dependent, and automatic. The machine also has a preinstalled library, allowing users to choose parameters for individual film types. AIRplus® Mini Touch is compatible with all COMFORT.PROTECT modules from Storopack.
Storopack FOAMplus® CUSHIONING
FOAMplus® IS HIGH-PRECISION PACKAGING, LIGHT AS A FEATHER.
Storopack's FOAMplus® foam packaging is a high-quality protective packaging solution that adapts to the contours of the product and protects your goods against possible transit damage due to impact shock and vibration. Whether they're heavy, fragile or awkward shapes FOAMplus® offers the protection required for your product. Made from expanded polyurethane, the high-quality packaging foam is resistant, robust and thanks to it being light weight, reduces transport costs.
With the FOAMplus® Bag Packer³ and Hand Packer² foam dispensing systems, protective foam packaging can be produced directly at the packing station and placed into the carton. As the foam expands it moulds to the contours of the product and encapsulates it in a highly versatile packaging medium. FOAMplus® is available in a range of strengths to suit a product’s weight and fragility. FOAMplus®, polyurethane foam packaging is an ‘on demand’ packaging solution that, when the two components mix together, will expand up to 250 times their liquid volume negating the necessity for large storage area’s required for pre-fabricated packaging.
